19. The QIN - QIO for Kentucky and from the Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health in Nursing Facilities

The CMS Quality Innovation Network - Quality Improvement Organization Team at Alliant Health Solutions is actively working with Kentucky facilities to reduce readmissions, build their emergency preparedness response, share their partnerships in local communities and continue their infection control learning.  Updates on the latest resources will be shared with participants.  This session will also spotlight the Center of Excellence for Behavioral Health in Nursing Facilities which launched in the fall of 2022 through the support of SAMHSA and CMS and is providing training to nursing facilities nationally. The opportunities for education and certification with this training hub will be shared and facilities will learn about how to contact the COE-NF for assistance in caring for residents with substance use and behavioral health needs.
